You can run 2 different types of ads through the Paved Marketplace: sponsored emails and dedicated sends.

The Paved Marketplace is a self-service marketplace connecting advertisers with newsletters for native sponsorships.

When you book a sponsorship in the Paved Marketplace, you can choose from 2 different ad formats: sponsored emails or dedicated emails.

In this guide, we'll explore both ad formats.

1. Sponsored Email

A sponsored email is an email that contains advertiser content alongside original publisher content, which is sent to a publisher’s existing email list. A sponsored email differs from a dedicated email in that the advertiser only creates content for a section of the email newsletter, instead of the entire email.

2: Dedicated Email

A dedicated email is an email sent on behalf of an advertising partner to a publisher’s existing email list. The email is “dedicated” since the content of the entire email is created by the advertiser.
