Manage your newsletter sponsorship campaigns with Claude. Search for newsletters, book sponsorships, submit creative, track campaigns, and handle billing — all in plain English.
Getting Connected
When you first connect, Claude will open a browser window where you log in to your Paved account. Once authenticated, Claude can access your marketplace data. No API keys or manual configuration needed.
Requirements:
V1 of Paved's MCP is available to active Marketplace advertisers with 1+ completed campaigns.
Account & Billing
Check your account status and billing setup before getting started.
"What's my account status?"
"Is my billing set up?"
"Do I have a payment method on file?"
"Am I ready to request sponsorships?"
"Show me my billing details"
Discover Newsletters
Search the Paved marketplace for newsletters that match your audience and budget. Filter by topic, category, subscriber count, or sponsorship type.
"Find newsletters about artificial intelligence"
"Search for finance newsletters with at least 50,000 subscribers"
"Show me technology newsletters that offer dedicated emails"
"Find newsletters in the marketing category under $500"
"Browse all technology newsletters"
"Tell me more about The Hustle"
"What newsletters are similar to Morning Brew?"
You can filter by keyword, category, subscriber count, price, and sponsorship type — or combine any of these. You don't need a keyword to browse; filtering by category alone works too. Look up any newsletter by name or ID to see full details including subscriber stats, pricing, audience info, open rates, click rates, and creative requirements.
Find Deals — Remnant Inventory
Browse discounted last-minute sponsorship opportunities. These are newsletters with smart pricing discounts (typically 5–50% off) for dates available in the next 2–14 days, sorted by rarity — fewest available dates first.
"Show me discounted sponsorship deals"
"Are there any last-minute deals on technology newsletters?"
"Find remnant inventory in the finance category"
"What newsletters have discounts right now?"
"Show me the best deals available this week"
Each result includes the newsletter name, discounted price, original price, discount percentage, days until the date, and how many discounted dates are left. Fewer available dates means the deal is rarer — grab it before it's gone.
Check Availability & Pricing
Before booking, check which dates are open and what the pricing looks like. Paved supports smart pricing, so rates may vary by date.
"Is April 15th available for that newsletter?"
"Check availability for the next two weeks on Tech Daily"
"What dates are open in May for that sponsorship option?"
"How much would it cost to sponsor on April 20th?"
"Check pricing for multiple dates — April 15, 22, and 29"
You can check up to 90 dates at once. Prices are returned per date so you can compare and pick the best option.
Request Sponsorships
Book a newsletter sponsorship placement. Claude will handle the request and send an initial message to the publisher on your behalf.
"Request a sponsorship on Tech Daily for April 15th"
"Book a sponsored email on Morning Brew for next Monday"
"Can you validate this sponsorship request without actually booking it?"
"Request a dedicated email sponsorship for May 1st with a custom message"
Dry run mode: Ask Claude to validate a request before committing. This checks availability, pricing, and your billing status without creating a campaign.
Custom messages: You can include a personalized note to the publisher, or let Paved generate a default introduction.
Manage Campaigns
Track your sponsorship campaigns from request through delivery. Filter by status, date range, or browse everything at once.
"Show me all my campaigns"
"What's the status of my campaign with Tech Daily?"
"List my approved campaigns for April"
"Do I have any campaigns waiting on me?"
"Which campaigns need publisher action?"
"Show campaigns from the last 30 days"
"Show me campaigns that need any action"
Campaign statuses include: Requested, Approved, Creative, Scheduled, Sent, and more. You can filter by status, date range, or who needs to act next (you, the publisher, or either). Claude will tell you what action is needed and by whom.
Every campaign response includes a direct link to the campaign in your Paved dashboard so you can jump straight to it.
Submit Creative
Upload your ad copy, headlines, images, and CTAs to fulfill a campaign's creative requirements. Each newsletter has specific requirements — Claude will show you what's needed and track your progress.
"What creative do I need to submit for my Tech Daily campaign?"
"Submit my ad headline: 'Ship faster with AI-powered code review'"
"Upload this image URL as the banner for campaign 42"
"Submit all the creative for my Morning Brew campaign"
"How many creative requirements are left?"
Creative types include text (ad copy, headlines, CTAs), links (landing page URLs), and images (banner ads, logos). Claude will confirm what's been submitted and what's still outstanding.
Communicate with Publishers
Send messages to publishers through the campaign conversation thread. Use this for date changes, questions, or general coordination.
"Send a message to the publisher on my Tech Daily campaign"
"Ask the publisher if we can move the date to April 22nd"
"Show me the conversation history for campaign 42"
"What messages have been exchanged on my Morning Brew campaign?"
"Tell the publisher the creative is on its way"
Messages from both you and the publisher are tracked in a single conversation thread per campaign.
Invoices & Payments
Review your sponsorship and ad network invoices. Filter by payment status or date range.
"Show me my invoices"
"Do I have any unpaid invoices?"
"List paid invoices from March"
"Show me all pending invoices"
"What's my invoice history for this quarter?"
Each invoice includes the amount, status, due date, and a link to view or pay on Stripe.
Marketplace Info
Get reference data about sponsorship formats, campaign statuses, and how the marketplace works.
"What sponsorship formats are available?"
"What are the different campaign statuses?"
"Show me the marketplace metadata"
"What does the 'Creative' status mean?"

Tips
Ask follow-up questions. After searching for newsletters, you can say "tell me more about the second one" or "find similar newsletters" without repeating context.
Use natural dates. Say "next Tuesday", "April 15th", or "the first week of May" — Claude will figure out the right date format.
Combine requests. You can ask Claude to search, check availability, and book in a single conversation flow.
Dry run first. If you're not sure about a booking, ask Claude to validate it before committing. This catches billing issues or date conflicts early.
Check creative requirements early. Each newsletter has different requirements. Knowing what you need upfront avoids delays after booking.
Filter campaigns by status. If you have many campaigns, filter by "Approved", "Requested", or any other status to find what you need quickly.
Check remnant inventory for deals. Last-minute slots are often discounted 5–50%. Fewer available dates means the deal is rarer.
Open campaigns in your dashboard. Every campaign response includes a direct link — ask Claude for the campaign URL if you need to view it in the Paved UI.
