There are 3 ways to monetize your newsletter with Paved: The Marketplace, Booker, and the Ad Network. In this article, you’ll learn about our 3 key monetization tools for newsletter publishers.

What is the Paved Marketplace?

It’s a free directory and marketplace for email sponsorships. Creators can list their newsletter’s profile in the Paved Marketplace to get matched with applicable sponsors.

After you join the Marketplace, we’ll promote your newsletter to advertisers via Marketplace listings and weekly recommendations. You’ll be listed in our premium directory and can accept any of the following types of sponsorships:

  • Native newsletter/email sponsorships

  • Dedicated email sponsorships (also called e-blasts)

  • Sponsored blog posts

What is Booker?

Booker is a sponsorship workflow solution that streamlines the booking process for newsletter publishers. After you set up your free Booker storefront, you can sell sponsorships, review ad creatives, and accept instant payments.

Booker helps you monetize your newsletter with less hassle and more control. Advertisers can book sponsorships, upload creative, and send payment all in one go, all on your website.

As a member of Paved, you get free access to Booker. It's a great option if you need an easy, low-cost way to monetize your newsletter and manage sponsorship bookings.

What is the Paved Ad Network?

The Paved Ad Network is a premium newsletter network driven by programmatic technology. Our lightweight HTML code displays a custom, native ad to subscribers based on their interests and demographics.

Newsletter Ad Network For Publishers | Paved

Most publishers find this is an economic way to fill spare slots not booked for traditional sponsorship. Your earnings on the Ad Network are influenced by how valuable your audience is as advertisers will bid more to reach certain people (for example managers or CEOs).

The Ad Network works on a pay-per-click (PPC) basis. It complies with all security laws including GDPR and CCPA.

What's the difference between the Marketplace, Booker, and the Ad Network?

When you sign up for a free Paved account, you can access all of our powerful monetization tools. Each tool has a few key differences for publishers.

The Marketplace

The Marketplace is for traditional sponsorships where advertisers who have a similar audience will reach out to you with requests for native newsletter ads, dedicated email sponsorships, or sponsored blog posts.

Booker

Booker is a checkout and scheduling tool you can add to your website to streamline the sponsorship process. Currently, Booker supports traditional email sponsorships. These are ads placed alongside your regular newsletter content.

The Ad Network

The Ad Network runs on programmatic technology and allows advertisers to target specific subscribers from your audience based on demographics or interests. Advertisers bid per click or impression and you don't have to spend time collecting ad copy or communicating with the advertiser. In other words, it's email monetization on auto-pilot.
