As a newsletter sponsorship platform with international reach, Paved connects creators and audiences across the globe at scale. That’s why we’re excited to announce that we now support payouts for our creators using Wise (formerly TransferWise). Through this custom integration, Wise allows us to send publisher payments directly to bank accounts rapidly with minimal fees.

In addition to Wise, Paved will continue to offer publisher payment options through PayPal, Stripe Connect, and check. However, this new integration will be a valuable addition to the Paved platform moving forward for a few key reasons:
1. The Paved marketplace is growing rapidly
In July of this year, we first added Stripe Connect as a payment option to support our global base of creators. This allowed us to send money to 45 countries, mostly in North America and Europe. Since then, we’ve outgrown these platforms as we’ve expanded across 100+ countries, so integrating Wise is a natural next step.

Wise reduces fees for international creators compared to other leading payment platforms. For instance, below are the costs when sending a $1,000 payment to Europe:

3. Paved + Wise allows creators to receive payments more quickly
We know on-time payments are crucial for creators to support and grow their newsletters. With Wise, we can deposit funds into bank accounts in many countries in seconds.
How to start receiving your payouts through Wise
In order to change your payout method, log into Paved and navigate to Payouts. Then select ‘Bank’ from the list of options. (‘Bank’ is the option that is powered by the Paved + Wise integration.)
