How much can I earn on the Ad Network?
The Paved Ad Network operates on a pay-per-click (PPC) basis. Different from traditional sponsorships, advertisers do not pay a fixed fee to sponsor a single newsletter but rather pay per click to reach a portion of your audience across multiple days and sends. Advertisers compete with one another and place bids to reach your audience. This maximizes the amount you can earn.
This means that on days when you do not have a traditional email sponsorship locked in, you can earn money per click with very little effort. The more sought-after or niche an audience, the higher the payment per click that you earn. The highest-paying campaigns usually target US or EU-based B2B audiences and can pay up to several dollars per click. We pay you per click based on the highest advertiser bid minus the Paved platform fee.
Paved uses a real-time bidding (RTB) structure to assign priority to advertisers. The higher an advertiser bids, the more likely an ad will beat out the competition. This creates a competitive marketplace and ensures you will always receive the maximum earnings for each subscriber on your list.
