Booker is a newsletter sponsorship tool that simplifies the entire booking process for both advertisers and publishers.

In this article, you'll learn how to run sponsorships the easy way with Booker.


How to Book Your Sponsorship

With Booker, advertisers can set sponsorship placement, upload creative, and submit payment all in one place. Here's a breakdown of the booking process.

Step 1: Details

When you open a newsletter's Booker page, the first step is the Details section. Here, you'll view important sponsorship information for the publication you're interested in, including:

  • Publication overview and newsletter samples.

  • Recent advertisers.

  • Sponsorship pricing

Click Go to Sponsorship Options to continue.

Step 2: Placement

Next up is the Placement step. Here, you'll decide where you'd like to place your ad in the newsletter. For example, you could place a header ad at the top of a publication, in the middle, or on the footer.

Select your preference and click Next.

Step 3: Date

Once you've picked your placement, it's time for the Date step.

Here, all you need to do is set the date for your sponsorship, which is the day the email will be sent. Click Next to continue.

Step 4: Account

In the Account step, fill in your contact details. If you already have a Paved advertiser account, please use the email associated with your login.

When you're ready, click Next.

Step 5: Creative

Almost there! In this step, you'll upload your ad image and craft the copy, including the headline, body, and call-to-action.

As you're setting up your ad, be sure to use preview mode in the right panel to make sure everything looks great. And if you need ideas for ad creative, check out our guide, Designing Sponsored Emails.

When you're ready, click Next to proceed.

Step 6: Payment

To finalize everything, input your credit card payment details in the Payment step.

To confirm the booking and finalize your payment, click the Book button. We'll immediately send the sponsorship request to the publisher.

Note:

Paved uses Stripe, a secure payment platform, to process charges. We currently only support credit card payments.


Check Sponsorship Status

Next, you'll log in to your free Paved account to manage the sponsorship, communicate with the newsletter publisher, and check performance reports.

New Paved Users:

  1. Check your email for a booking confirmation email from Paved.

  2. Click the activation link to log into Paved.

  3. Take a look at your Sponsorships Dashboard:

Existing Users:

  1. Log in to your Paved advertiser account.

  2. Go to your Sponsorships Dashboard to view and manage your Booker campaigns.


View the Sponsorships Dashboard

On your Paved Sponsorship Dashboard, you can manage your Booker sponsorship, view its status, communicate with the publisher via Chat, and edit your campaign (if needed).

Click the Manage button to access the full details:

About Sponsorship Status:

On your sponsorship dashboard, you'll see the status of your campaign:

  • Requested:

    The booking was requested by the advertiser and is awaiting scheduling by the publisher.

  • Scheduled:

    The publisher has accepted and confirmed the sponsorship at the agreed-upon date.

  • Sent:

    The sponsorship was sent.

In rare instances, a publisher may decide to reject a sponsorship. When this happens, the campaign status will display "Rejected" and we will send you a full refund.


Check Results in Reports

After your sponsorship email is sent, Paved gathers results in the Reports section.

To view your results, go to Sponsorships> Sent Campaigns > View > Reporting.


Review the Sponsorship

When the sponsorship is completed, you’ll get an email alert asking for an honest review of the publisher. We’re offering all advertisers a free $20 gift card for each accepted review.
