Set up two-factor authentication (2FA) to enhance your Paved account's security. With two-factor authentication enabled in Paved, you need your login credentials and a one-time passcode to log in to your account. This passcode is generated by an authenticator app.

In this article, you'll learn how to use two-factor authentication for Paved.

Set up your authenticator app and enable 2FA

To begin, you'll need to download a 2-factor authenticator app on your mobile device, like Google Authenticator or iOS Authenticator. Next, enable 2FA in your Paved account.

Note:

  1. Open your Account Settings page.

  2. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click Enable Two-Factor Authentication.

  3. With your mobile device, scan the QR code on your authentication app, and be sure to save your recovery codes.

  4. Click Done.

Log in to Paved with 2FA

  1. Enter your username and password on the Paved sign-in screen, and click Log In.

  2. Launch your authenticator app on your connected mobile device to generate your random, temporary passcode.

  3. Type the 6-digit passcode into the Verification code field in Paved.

  4. Click Log In.
